Colorado Association of REALTORS® VP of Internal Operations, D. Jonathan Griggs, talks about why they chose GrowthZone and the seamless onboarding process.

Why did your old platform lead you to look for a new solution?

On the surface it worked great for us, but throughout the years we started experiencing some problems with the functionality, like how it handled events, the member interaction, and it could not handle the email or communications very well. After a number of years, it became my directive to find a better solution.

Why did you ultimately choose GrowthZone?

Honestly, there were multiple things. On the surface, it was the end user experience for our staff here. The ease of being able to navigate through the database was number one, because even though we are here to have something that benefits what we do for our members, I need to make sure that our staff can navigate through the system and that it is easily adopted. On the other side, it was the amount of functionality that GrowthZone gave us so that we did not have to go find a third party.

What do you like best about GrowthZone?

GrowthZone is a one-stop-shop. Not only can it be my AMS for my member management, but it can handle my events, my education, our internal communication, external communication, and give us the superior analytics that we need to better serve those members. There are needs that we have and it is just the need for simplicity. At the state level, when we go into a database, we need to be able to have a very simple and quick glimpse of every member. One of the things GrowthZone does with its member profile, we have on one tab all the pertinent information that we would need to know about a member.

How did you feel about the onboarding process?

The onboarding process has been the fastest onboarding process that I have ever participated in in thirty years of being in technology. The process has been very smooth and seamless. We were never down, even when we were onboarding. We were exporting all of our data from our old database and importing it into GrowthZone, but if someone had to pull a member record up, I could give them access to the database and they could still pull a record up.

What would you say to someone looking for a new AMS?

Listen, you need to do your due diligence, there are a number of different AMS platforms out there. You need to go look at all of them. But at the end of the day, you really want to make a decision on an AMS that will provide you with the best solutions, not only for your staff, but for your members. After I spent a year and a half digging, and digging, and digging, I can say with certainty that GrowthZone checks all the boxes.
